PROCEDURE TO TEST ECU WITH ECU TESTER 

CONTENT
1.ECU CODE (mã hộp)
2.“ECU PRO” MODEL (mô hình ecu pro)
3.ECU PIN DESCRIPTION (mô tả về chân pin ecu)
4.CONNECT ECM/PCM TO POWER/GROUND (kết nối hộp với nguồn và mass).
5.CONNECT CAN BUS TO DATA LINK CONNECTOR (OBD2)(kết nối giao
tiếpcủa EC/PCM với giắc chuẩn đoán)
6.CONNECT CKP /CMP SIGNAL TO “ECU TESTER” DEVICE (kết nối tín hiệu
trục khuỷu/trục cam với thiệt bị ECU TESTER.
7.INSTRUCTION FOR USE OF “ ECU TESTER” DEVICE (hướng dẫn sử dung
thiệt bị ECU TESTER.
8.CONNECT ACTUALTOR ( kết nối cơ cấu chấp hành )
9.CONNECT SENSOR ( kết nối cảm biến)
10.SCHEMATIC DIAGRAM ( sơ đồ mạch điện sửa chữa)

Repair ECU

Hyundai Kia GDS sofware

Step1: Connect ECU/PCM to power supply 12v

Power Function
Hot at all times Battery power (12V)
Hot in on /start From Key switch On Start input
Engine control relay “ON” power Power after main relay

Step1:  Connect ECU/PCM to power supply 12V:

Pin (ECU) Function
CAGM – K– 82 battery Battery  power
CAGM –K- 6 main relay ON input After main relay on
CAGM – K – 83 on/start input On/ start input

Step1:  Connect ECU/PCM to ground:

Pin (ECU) Function
CAGM -K– 73 Ground
CAGM-K – 51 Ground

Step 2:Connect Scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC)
Connect CANBUS to use Automotive OBD2 Scanner Diagnostic Tool:
– Actuator test,
– Read database (live data),
– Real fault,
– Erase fault

If you want ECU control Injector and ignition, you must connect Crankshaft sensor from ECU/PCM to ECU TESTER.
When you simulate Crankshaft sensor, ECU will control injector and Ignition.

Note: With HYUNDAI ECU
-You only need to connect Crankshaft. ECU can control Injector and ignition.
-When you simulate for  Ignition and Injector Testing, but you don’t  have ignition coil. You must adjust the RPM between 200-500( if RPM over 500 RPM ECU doesn’t control injector and ignition( depend on ECU).
With ECU have immo :ECU will control Injector and ignition about 10 times or more,  and then you turn off turn on power, the process is repeated.
With ECU do not have immo:ECU will control Injector and ignition, when you simulate CKP signal to ECU.

Connect Crank shaft sensor to ECU to ECU Tester

Connect Camshaft sensor to ECU to ECU Tester

PIN OUT OF ECU TESTER TOOL

INJECTOR

Refer to the diagram for connecting injectors by LED

When you simulate Crankshaft sensor, ECU will control injector and Ignition
